5. One-word splash
Once you have explained some new material to your students, ask them to give an appropriate adjective for that answer and write down something about it. This would help in improving their thinking skills and their ability to respond to the answers.

Dictation is an excellent way to improve one’s vocabulary and knowledge of words and should be taken frequently so that the students learn writing and to understand the complex and new words.
7. Stand Up Sit Down
This exercise can be perfect for differentiating two different things. For instance, you can provide them with some words and ask them whether they are proper nouns or common nouns. Ask them to stand up and sit down as their response.
8. Thumbs up Thumbs Down
This exercise can be used as an agreement or disagreement on something. Ask them a question and take their opinion as to whether they agree to it or not.
9. Gallery Walk

10. Quick Draw
You can carry out this task in the form of a riddle where you ask them a question and tell them to draw what they understand from it.
You can come up with your own activities apart from the ones mentioned above during your Montessori teacher training and encourage the students to participate.
